welcome.

I have been serving youth, young adults, women, and families in Whatcom County since 2002. My experience has brought me alongside individuals when they have felt the most out of place in their own story, in order to explore avenues to hope, healing, and flourishing.

Since 2016, I have served as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for youth and families in the Nooksack Valley School District. During my training, I worked as a Community Mental Health Therapist with Catholic Community Services, supporting children and teenagers as they grew more resilient, both individually and as a part of their schools, families, and peer groups. Prior to working therapeutically, I spent ten years in organizational leadership helping youth, young adults, and women navigate life transitions, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, grief, and trauma. I am continually drawn to the intersection of our emotional, mental, physical, and relational well-being, and believe that early intervention and school-based services are key to strengthening children, families, and communities.

Working through the lens of trauma-informed education, attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and relational psychoanalysis, I support children at school through individual therapy, family therapy, therapeutic groups, school advocacy, and teacher education.

I am passionate about continued education and have completed trainings related to Autism Spectrum, LGBTQ+ youth, complex PTSD, grief, changing families, suicide prevention, diversity, equity, and inclusion, positive discipline, hope science, and educational leadership.

Flourishing is a joint venture. We are in this together.
